A Note from Karen
I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and have traveled extensively. My passion for natural health and wellness and desire to live near nature brought my partner Paul and me to a beautiful area of land in southern Medina County where we raise a small herd of goats and are stewards of the land. An interest in natural animal fibers led me to explore fiber arts, and I fell in love with felt making and felt art.
My passion and calling are to help people on their journey to a deeper meaning in life and connect with the healing powers of nature and spirit. It is very fulfilling to me to provide opportunities and experiences that are life-enhancing and that bring together people who desire to connect to nature and its healing magic.

The Heart of Creativity
Karen is a felt textile artist and educator whose work explores the transformation of wool fiber and other textiles into a variety of art pieces using techniques of wet felting, needle felting, and Nuno felting to create unique art.
Karen’s art is exhibited and for sale at many NE Ohio specialty shops, and also available for sale in her art workshop. Personalized felting workshops are also available.
